Hi Guys,
Any of you got approved this month? They sent few I-130 approvals last month and now looks like they again stopped. I have not seen any new approval in March. So frustrating .... i was expectecting that they will start October files early this month.

Looking at the timeline here, it seems that there was one approved on 2nd and one on 4th. It is very slow and appears to be slowing further. I know it is so very frustrating. Several people, including me, who filed at the end of August are still waiting for approvals, so it would be a miracle if they started processing october files any time soon.

If anyone else had their case approved this month, please update the timeline for the rest of us who are still waiting...thanks!

I got approved yesterday!! CSC received my I-130 on July 27th with a receipt date of August 10th. Yippy! It's been a long 215 days waiting for my NOA2.

I'm also waiting for a possible approval this month but what my husband received in mail was a blue request letter requesting birth certificate in original language (Japanese), though he already sent the original English translation in I130 application. What will they do with the Japanese BC????? wacko.gif
He made a follow up call about this, and was able to talk to a representative and was inform that USCIS is now processing application received middle and last week of July of 2007. He was told to wait another month of two for the approval crying.gif
Hopefully I'll get mine approve in May. Yours maybe end of this month or early April.
Goodluck.

That is just insane!!! According to the processing times on USCIS web site, CSC was done processing July 26th petitions on Feb 15th. I thought they would be in August by now, so I am really disappointed and deeply frustrated that they are still in July. BTW, I sent my petition ten days after you, so mine would probably get approved in May or June crying.gif crying.gif crying.gif

What did they say about why they needed the Japanese birth certificate?

I think I am going to stop wasting time monitoring the processing times and such, as I probably have good two to three months to go.

Good luck to you and good luck to us all!

CSC has approved about 4 people who filed in September. I'm sure they have approved so many more that aren't on VJ too, so it is definitely looking like they are working on September also. Now this doesnt mean that there aren't any July and August filers still floating out there. I don't know why those filers are so unlucky, but it looks like we should see an October approval within a month.

Hi people.

How's everyone doing? Newbie here in VJ. Anyway, I'm a late August filer and my wife's and stepdaughter's I-130 were both approved yesterday. Hang in there people. Patience more than anything. God bless.

I dont why they ask you a BC. It was not a required to send in the first place. I guess I did not send at all.

Unfortunately, USCIS didn't give my husband any explanation why they needed the Japanese BC crying.gif

My NOA1 is dated July 26, 2007. Still no NOA2.

That's also what we understood. Japanese BC will only be necessary during the interview at the Embassy. But...????
No choice, husband sent it yesterday via (USPS overnight). wacko.gif
