hi,

No neeeded the POE has to be JFK.... he can take a stop over flight .. which stops at london or say frankfurt and then directly fly to lax from there.....

About the envelope, I dont know if K1 people have them\

best of luck

The sealed packet will be sent with the passport (which has the visa stamp). yes.gif Or if they gave the passport in person without the packet, and it didn't come via courier within a week or so, you need to inform the Consulate about it.

The POE only needs to be JFK if you want the EAD stamp, making it valid for work for 90 days. But most people can't get a job within that time, and usually one has to quit when it expires if the one year EAD hasn't come.

At the interview the consulate should have given her paperwork in a sealed envelope. Including her X-ray and health records.

These need to remain sealed and not be temperred with. At point of entry. ( First Airport that the International flight lands at is always your poing of entry reguardless of your destination. ) If that happens to be LAX then so be it.

Once she Arrives to US you have to get married within 90 days. Now I am not clear on if it is once Visa is issues or once she enteres the US. I believe it is after Arrival.

Then you have to apply for change of status etc.

Please see the detailed flow chart on http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...amp;page=k1flow.

Best wishes.

You are right, one has to get married within 90 days of arriving in USA NOT the date the visa is issued.
