Audrey - that is awful! Is there no way Phil can get to the embassy?

Audrey, if it is the 'MBE' that has been opened the Embassy will need to re-seal it. Get Phil to contact them and they'll explain how to contact the courier company to deliver it back to them. It's easily remedied so try not to worry.

He cannot get to the embassy without an appointment letter. He can only send an email and this could take 5 days to get any response. I just sent him a phone number that I got off the internet so I hope this helps him. He is flying out tomorrow to Bangkok and will not be back until the 15th and then is supposed to fly home on the 18th. I'm just sick about it.

It is - a bit weird as well as it just doesn't seem to want to sink in that I am actually leaving the country - it is all so surreal!!

I came here originaly on a HB-1 visa, now a citizen, took a few years to feel really at home here, now I dont really think about the UK much at all. You will have fun here.

Finally my interview will he held on the 13th of May. I am soo excited and soooooooo nervous. I am worried so much now. And also worried about the POE. I hope that everything will go well. Please everyone let me know you guys' experiences and give me adovice.

Great news!!! As for advice - your best bet for the interview is to try the regional forums for reviews and for POE, if you know which airport your POE will be, then you can find the reviews for that in the review section as well I am sure you will do great!!

We are still waiting for an interview. Just so dang sick of this I can't even put it into words. On the up side, I booked our honeymoon in Disney for September. I sure hope I didn't jinx anything by doing that. If I have to cancel again I don't know if I can take it.
