I found that the USPS Express Mail flat rate envelope has been the best way to mail things - It's a flat fee of $25, and so far, it has taken about 4 days to reach (they say it takes 6-8). Plus, there is tracking included with it -

I am planning on taking Ken and the boys to a Mets game the end of April! Should be very interesting! I also signed Ken up to be an Asst. Football (soccer) coach on my eldest's team...they SUCK!!! Poor Ken is taking it a little too seriously ...he's like are they conditioned and they know the different positions...rat tay tay wid halla these questions. Meanwhile they are like the Bad News Bears of Soccer (my son is fighting off 4 opponents and the rest of the team is on the other side of the field doing cartwheels and showing off dance moves )and the Head Coach is hobbling along wid a cane telling them to "Follow Jordan!!!!" (my son)! I am NOT bragging when I say that my son is the best on the team. He was doing more coaching yesterday than the coach was! I told the Head coach about Ken and he was like..."Can he start TODAY!!!"

Jordan was like..."Am I gonna have to be the 'translator'? Cause my team is not gonna understand..."Gwaan Mon...move onnuh b-claat!" I figured it would be a good bonding experience...I'll let ya'll know!

PUH-LEASE!!! I am STILL waiting for my Valentine Day card and CD and the appointment letter from the Embassy! HOT DYAM MESS!!! That's why when Ken said his brother could mail up KJ's birth certificate I was like " HELL NO!!!" Is strictly hand to hand I want that to go...I don't even trust Fed-Ex, DHL or NONE of them!! Hopefully, it can go ...Ken's Brother- Lawny- my sister - me!!!

It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I loved my room. you can open your balcony door and it has a screen door. The balconies are PRIVATE (if you know what I mean). From our room we could see the ocean and the pool. It was so beautiful. Let me tell you, if you're on a DIET FORGET IT! I've never ATE and drank so much in my life. Even when we on the beach as soon as I finished my glass, they were filling it up. The place is HUGE and it kind of takes away from it. Entertaintment is okay, but I was quickly bored. I think it's because I'm a born Jamaican, so I had to go into Ochi for fun. But I would recommend it, although it's $$$$$$ it's worth every penny. I can't wait for them to building the one in Mobay. The resort is HUGE! We walked from the front desk to the main gate and it was tiring. The guards would not let my fiance cousin in even though he had ID and his name was on the list. They made his cousin get out his car searched it and the truck. I was LIVID! So, I went to the gate and gave them a piece of my mind. The front desk manager (I didn't know) was running behind me, but it was too late. I had already made it to the gate. That was the only bad thing. That was quickly resolved and they gave him and additional night past for free and appolgized to me for the inconvience. Even walking the full length of the beach takes some time. I wish I could remember my room number. We were in the main building which drops you into the lobby.

Hush now - I have a friend with twins, another with quadruplets - NO TONKS!!!

Have you ever looked into FDR & FDR Pebbles? They have a nanny assigned to every room with children, included in the cost of the room. We stayed in Pebbles when my kids were smaller. My youngest had the nanny for her stay. They did all kinds of kid-friendly stuff and had exclusive areas for the different age groups. There is a youth coordinator for the older kiddies.

I loved the freedom during the day to do what I liked without worrying about them. And, you could pay her extra to stay into the night if you wished.

It was small enough to get to know pretty much everyone in the resort, big enough for plenty of stuff to do, and they had some great off-site excursions planned.

Nah, back then Andre popped in the embassy to drop off the DS-230, make an appointment, and got some form. They said they would mail the appointment letter. Still waiting.................

Ken is so NOT a big cryer (I guess my emotional a$$ sheds enough for the both of us!) Only cried twice...once when he was just SOOOO frustrated wid Baby Mama's care of KJ and 2nd when we were leaving Rebel Salute and we both realized I was leaving the next day!

Gurl, my man been packed and ready to go...his flight is at 4:40pm. He just has to get my Juicy patties on Wednesday morning and I told him to check in around Noon so he can ask for the bulkhead seat...at 6'3'' I REALLY need him to get the bulkhead for those long legs! Those are first come, first serve (Being JA. yuh might even haffi give deh Airline Rep a couple of dollas! ) He will check-in and guh dung tuh Dead End for a few hours! I told him to have ONE shot of Grey Goose to calm his nerves...but that's it or he may get sick!

He keeps telling me he is not scared...but excited...so we will see! I think more tears will come when he has to take KJ back to Baby Mama for the last time! I gotta get my hustle on and get KJ here soon...cause Ken will really be miserable without him and we arready knoa how I feel bout Baby Mama! CHO!

Gurl, you han deh 202# ah guh be deh BEST ah friend when your time come! They even started knowing me by voice! One lady was like weren't you the one with the sneaky Baby Mama...that 'lost' your fiance's son's Birth Certificate!

I stayed at pebbles, the rooms are NICE you get a two room suite and we had two nanny's one for the girls and one for my son. it was great, the staff were very good with the kids. we didn't like the food, but wasn't sure if it wasn't because it was October and it was off season why the food was so bad. it's in trelawny i belive, wanted to try the one in runaway bay, but we never got around to it.

Gill I have a question for you about the 202#. When do you call them? I called them this morning and they could not give me any info about Mike's case. They were only able to tell me that the case is current and is at the NVC. When I told her that the case was completed on 3/3 she was only able to tell me that the case was not yet forwarded to Kingston. Is it only after the case is forwarded to Kingston, they can access it to give you info. What kind of info did you garner from them?

Is it even necessary for me to call them. NVC told me this morning that my case has not yet been forwarded to Kingston. I got the interview date on 3/25 but it is still in NH. I thought that once an interview date is assigned, it would then be shipped immediately to Kingston.

I see. That is considerably cheaper than DHL or Fed ex. I used them last year and it cost me $60. Fed Ex was charging me $95. I hope to get the interview letter and forward it to Mike and I am just so worried that he will not get it if I send it USPS. Doesn't it have to go through the Ja mail system too? At least with DHL, they will deliver it to whatever address I send it.
