We didn't get the cute little apartment around the corner from my boys school...they didn't want kids. Plus, the lady renting the room not too far from me...has changed her mind about renting it...because someone threathened to tell the town unless she gave it to him!

Posting this early because I won't have access to a computer. My dads whole family (all 40 something of us) are staying at a hotel tonight to celebrate family. They have traveled from as far a Japan! My Grandmother is in stage 4 of lung and bone cancer and she wanted one last full weekend of partying while she is strong enough. Last night she hosted a dinner for all of us and it was a blast! I love being able to see everyone. And my Grandmother is a huge inspiration to me, she is in her late 70's and has the most postive attitude about her situation. She still volunteers at her church daily.

I wish everyone a great Easter and my prayers go out to each and everyone of us. We are all dealing with our own struggles but I have faith that we will overcome them! Because we have the support of each other!

Because it's illegal to rent rooms in Nassau County...this guy she was showing another room to...threatened to call the County Housing department and report her if she didn't give him Ken's room! So, she just saod 'f' it to renting ALL the rooms...so now we are back at SQUARE ONE!!!

Whatever, I KNOW I will find something! It's just a PITA...cause I can't book Ken's flight til I have a place for him to come to!

Damn...that statement hurt my feelings and I don't even know them. I tell you, FAMILY will be the quickest people to bring you down. You know what's going to happen to them Gill, when Kens gets here and gets situated in a year or so down the line dem ago what help from im...what how the table ago turn. Marcel aunt in Queens is still demanding he come live there and that Maryland is too close to DC where there is a lot of killings everyday (so she say). I recently sent an e-mail to the NVC/JA embassy inquiring about Mike's interview date and the following is their response to me I have yet to receive a reply from the NVC At least the people in Kingston seem to be working over the w/e or did they just schedule an e-mail delay?

The National Visa Center (NVC) will schedule Mr. Watson and his family for a visa interview at the earliest available date, which will likely be in May or June 2008. Once the date is determined, they will mail an appointment packet to Paulette Langley in Raleigh, NC 27616.

Good News Guys!!!

I called the same lady that had the room to rent to ask her if she knew anyone else renting and she said...SHE WAS GOING TO CALL ME...she changed her mind and wasn't gong to be bullied by some jerk! I went over there and gave her 1st month and deposit...walked out with the keys!!!

Then I came home and was READY to book my Baby's flight...everything was SKY HIGH!!! I checked this website called 'Lastminute.com'....Guys...I found a NON-STOP flight STRAIGHT TO JFK for $199...TAXES INCLUDED!!!!!!

As horrible as my Good Friday was...my Saturday was truly blessed!!
