N/A goes there because there is no one listed in 14 and 19. But none would work just the same. As long as he is not filing for any children then of course your answer would change.

Get lots of fluids and lots of rest!!! I remember when my ex-husband had the flu, the doc told him he had to get to a point where he would rather die then live through it before he would start to get better. It was awful.....and of course men are such babies. headbonk.gif

So how do you all fry fish? What type of fish? What type of seasonings? Just trying to get some ideas smile.gif

This is what I do.

I wash the fish in salt and lemon juice, let it dry. In a bowl, I mix up seasoning, black pepper, a just touch of white salt, becuase the seasoning all ready have enough salt in it. Then I rub not sprinkle...I rub it inside the fish and outside and let it sit for a little. Then I make the oil really hot...hot hot hot (but don't BURN it). I love spicy food and I love it when the fish have a little kick to it, so I drop 1/2 of scoth bonnet pepper in the oil (DISCLAIMER) you might want to open your windows or go stand somewhere else until the pepper burn off or your eyes are going to burn like hell. If you don't want it to be too hot (spicy) take out the seeds. That's the hottest part of the pepper. Then u just fry dem one by one. I also make little slits in the sides of the fish. Saw my grandmother do that, she say the seasoning will soak into the fish while it's frying. Then you all done. Enjoy your meal. Oh, one more very important thing...

What time is dinner? whistling.gif

I mix my seasoning with flour and thanks for the reminder that i need to buy some. good.gif

I use flour with mine as well. And I like to cook it outside - no stink!!

I have no outside, my grandmother suggested i boil some floral disinfectint on the stove with some water to get rid of the smell, I haven't tried it yet, maybe tonite...we get this stuff from england called zflora comes in different scents like roses and bouquet...maybe English can suggets a subsitute..

UGH!!! The smell of fried fish would have me gagging all over the house when I was little. i could not even be inthe house when my mother cooked it. It was horrible to me. She never made me eat it either something about fried fish didnt agree with me. She used cornmeal in her batter too...yuk! I love fried fish now, I actually bake my fish more than fry it...don't eat much fried foods, but I season it with lots of stuff and flour and milk to make a pastey batter then fry it.

Thanks for the fry fish tips good.gif So when you do all that you are using the whole fish right? Just cleaned and scaled?

Not me - I am way too much the spoiled Amercian. I buy it already cut up and ready to cook! Same with chicken and pork - boneless and skinless. blush.gif

I will admit to buying skinless chiken, only when i stew it

I can't be bothered to fight with any bones. I need a good recipe for stewed pork. Got any?

Can't help u there, i only do stew chicken and fish, but the slice fish like kingfish

Can't help either...sorry. Don't do pork at all.

I'm finding more and more, I can't eat it either, I put it in my mouth and instantly I become nauseated.

We have a really odd Easter tradition - combining all of the nationalities - We start with Ravioli (Italian uncle), then have the traditional ham dinner with all the fixings - later on we have kielbasa (polish grandfather) and Kleiben (german / hungarian brother in law) and eggs. Should be interesting when we try to add something Jamaican wacko.gif

Sounds like you will have fun Sus! I can't imagine eating all those different types of things!!!

Way to go Jengles good.gif I wish I could get someone else to cook and for the get together to be at someone elses house blush.gif

Sorry you have to work D sad.gif I hope you have a good weekend regardless!

My whole family is coming over to my house after church on Sunday and we are going to BBQ and make all sorts of food. Probably just hang out and play some games or watch a movie. Hopefully it is relaxing but it probably won't be because it is at my house.

That's funny!! I just use self-rise flour and water then fry them. I was suprised there was a "real" recipe for them.
