Hey All...

I haven't been on here much lately.....getting ready for the interview next week but wanted u all to know Dave did have his medical on 3/18 as planned. I PM'ed some of u about him still needing a couple of the immunizations for the interview and it seems like it worked itself out. (THANKS to JG, Gill and JaLove for the info.)

A lot of places are closed down in JA today and monday cause of the holidays but I spoke with the NVC and the R.N. at Andrews memorial who said Dave can just take the "proof" that he got the shots straight to the Interview and we should be fine.

Thanks for all your advice and words of encouragement. I still got about 30 pages of posts to read before i can catch up on what u all been talking about these last few days ( LOL) but i'll keep everyone posted about my case.

The dance i went to at Portocio Beach the girls that were on stange had on NOTHING! NADAH! I was so glad I was far from the stage and sitting on top of my friends truck. After a while the crowd got tired of them and started to boo and fling bottles on the stage. A few moments before they were cheering them on.

At Shades, they had a live show going on - I am openminded, but MY LAWD! of course, I had to use the bathroom - and walk down the steps past a trio in full action

As much as I hate to say this, but it's true. My brother's friends do that all the time. They bring up the careless girls after having big dance off competitions in Jamaica. Like how they use to pay women to hang out in front of the dancehall half DAMN naked in the middle of winter to bring MEN into the dancehall...what a stress.

OMG! Girl, don't get me started. I've seen it all. It's just so friggin nasty and in the day of AIDS, I just don't understand it. In November last year I was at Pier One in Mobay and if ya'll know where that is..-- it's near the water at a pier surouned by a lot of rocks. Well this guy was running through the club throwing this girl up in the air like he was having sex with her and all her GLORY was out. It was just crazy. Her damn top came off no bra it was not pretty. When he started to run from the pier back inside the club, he triped and she went right into the bar. I never laughed so hard in my life. My fiance and his friends were laughing and me becuase I have an INFECTIOUS laugh. If you hear me laugh you can't help but to laugh.

My cousin had to pay $200 U.S. Some of the shots he didn't need, but the nurse told him hit would have been a lot expensive if he had gotten it at a clinic before he came for the medical. Does your hubby have any of his shot records or immunization card?

Forget the opportunity party. They know what they getting into and a hotel some a dem live for a week or two sometimes with a dozen or more women. No self respect. I watch one of the dance off my brother's friend had in Mobay and it look like it was about a 1000 girls in line. When he got to the 1st 50 he locked down the place and told them to go home. They had to run to their vehicles becuase bottle, stone, chair anything they could find start to fling.

My girl, it was the funniest thing I've ever seen. He just kept running through the club with this girl wrapped around his waist. She was straddling him on a chair then he would get up and run with her...I was like what the RASS is this.

This is what I do.

I wash the fish in salt and lemon juice, let it dry. In a bowl, I mix up seasoning, black pepper, a just touch of white salt, becuase the seasoning all ready have enough salt in it. Then I rub not sprinkle...I rub it inside the fish and outside and let it sit for a little. Then I make the oil really hot...hot hot hot (but don't BURN it). I love spicy food and I love it when the fish have a little kick to it, so I drop 1/2 of scoth bonnet pepper in the oil (DISCLAIMER) you might want to open your windows or go stand somewhere else until the pepper burn off or your eyes are going to burn like hell. If you don't want it to be too hot (spicy) take out the seeds. That's the hottest part of the pepper. Then u just fry dem one by one. I also make little slits in the sides of the fish. Saw my grandmother do that, she say the seasoning will soak into the fish while it's frying. Then you all done. Enjoy your meal. Oh, one more very important thing...

Thanks for the directions...that is kinda how I envisioned doing it but I am glad to have a detailed description. I have never really done whole fish on my own so this should be an adventure...not to mention I HATE frying things. I have started so many little fires and burned myself so many time You should see me when I gear up for frying...tall sleeves, hair back, glasses on, clear everything within 5 feet and plenty of flour/baking powder to put out any fires I am such a mess

I mix my seasoning with flour and thanks for the reminder that i need to buy some.

I sprinkle i little bit of water in the pan, when the oil starts jumping when u do that, it's hot enough,

I use flour with mine as well. And I like to cook it outside - no stink!!

Thanks for the fry fish tips So when you do all that you are using the whole fish right? Just cleaned and scaled?

I have no outside, my grandmother suggested i boil some floral disinfectint on the stove with some water to get rid of the smell, I haven't tried it yet, maybe tonite...we get this stuff from england called zflora comes in different scents like roses and bouquet...maybe English can suggets a subsitute..

I also try to fry mine outside, but if you have to do it inside I put on a pot of cinnamon and vinegar and sometimes organe peel and it keeps the smell down

and fillet but that is just my preference, I like Porgy which is really to small to be fillet but mi can't bodda with di head and it have nuff bones..but it is soooooo swweeet
