I am so sorry to hear about the delay.

Just keep praying and remember He did not bring you this far to fail you now. Just exercise some more patience and concentrate on planning your wedding and getting your home ready for him. It will be some adjusting living with someone new and from totally different culture. Focus on those things and time will go by real fast. I know because I am waiting for Mike for over a year now and he has not yet gotten his interview date. I have focused my energy elsewhere and it has helped. I know it fells like you can almost reach out and touch something yet it is out of your reach. One day you are gonna look in his face and talk about this stressful time and have a great big laugh about it. Trust me.

Girl yuh is a riot, but I agree with you about dat one. Let him fly hup pon whatever he wants as long as it is affordable. A hope you tell me him affi come and do some heavy lifting. Him look like him strang and healthy and used to hard work, so hit won't be a problem. Yuh have invested a lot and am sure he will be willing to help yuh wid de move. Me sure it will be a pleasure far him, seeing date the fus night oonu can rooks inna oonu new apartment.

Well, I sent a 'thank you' email to the landlord this morning...virtually begging him to let us have it! He sent me back an email thanking me for my email and said that his parents really wanted a couple without children...but to give him one more day...so hopefully by tomorrow...I should know!

Girl, I just pray that that is where G-d wants me...cause that would be PERFECT!!

I will be praying for a speedy resolution for you. I know that the God that we serve is on the case and where better to put it, than in His hands.

Gurl, I FEEL your pain! I saw you standing right there with EVERYTHING! This makes NO sense to me!!! I think Andrew maybe right about the 'name thing'!! DON'T YOU DARE GIVE UP!!!! Look, I think it is VERY unlikely that they would approve you only to take it back! Have you emailed the Embassy directly to ask them what gives!! If not, then go through the Citizen Services Line...ask to speak to the Ambassadors Office! DON'T GIVE UP!!! YOU HAVE GOTTEN THIS FAR AND AT THIS POINT YOU DO DESERVE AN ANSWER!!!!

Kimmy - How are you doing, my dear? The last I read, you were feeling better. One of my good friends is having a rough time with her pregnancy too. She tell me seh di last 10 days she's been in and out of the hospital in Ja, because she caan keep anything down, poor thing.

Thanks JA. His mom lives in Jamaica..she just only has the visa to travel back and forth that is why she is so angry. She will be in a different country from her son. I appreciate your prayers...toss the monster-in-law in there too, lol. No, but seriously she needs it. I told her she can visit anytime and when Andrew gets his papers he can come back and visit, but she is not hearing it

Doesn't she realize that this is an opportunity for him to make a better life for himself. He is a grown man and will now have a wife. She is of no issue at this moment in his life. Mind you, I don't mean that he has to disrespect or abandon her, but she has to realize that he has to live his life for himself and you at this point. She will be able to visit and spend time with you both. She does not realize how lucky she is, her being able to do that. A lot of mothers don't have this opportunity, so she is blessed. One day he might be able to sponsor her to live here permanently.

If you have any stores that sell spanish hair care products around you try those, she'll probably just need a moisturizing shampoo, cond and a leave in conditioner and a hair creme, that will give her hair defination...hair grease might weigh her hair down and they have spanish stuff for curly hair. I'm just making the assumption of what her hair texture is, maybe someone else might have better suggestions for you.

I'm thinking her hair may be dried out. So its sucking all the moisture out and that where the problems begin...girl I can give you all kinds of suggestions but check this website out....its the best Biracial Hair

My daughter probably has the same hair. Lately I have been just using a moisture shampoo and conditioner... or even just cond if her hair isnt dirty and then a wide come with TIGI "Curls Rock"... Got it at Rire Aid or CVS. It is a leave in moisterizer and really looks great without giving her that crunchy wet look. And grease is too heavy. I only use if I put in braids or piggies to keep the flyaways tame...
In the past I have also used Bumble & Bumble for curly hair but that is $$ and only get that when I get a bonus! LOL

Classy your daughters hair looks on point. Very healthy and moisturized...moisture is the key. Grease...yuk! I don't think anyone should use grease in their hair. It clogs your pores and disrupts hair growth, weighs it down, attracts dust and dirt, just all around bad. Plus with the texture of your daughters hair there would be no need for that. Conditioner is all I ever use. Sometimes my hair is over conditioned. Its so soft and when I straigten it I get major static cause its too soft. So I use a cholesterol conditioner and motions. I also use a light oil like olive oil or something, but only in my scalp not the actual hair.

By the way your daughter is too cute love the pout!

Whoo!! Finally on Spring Break

. Now I have 30 some pages to catch up on. Loving the snow today on the first morning of Spring. I can't believe I didn't sleep in but the little one is kicking me. Everyone have a wonderful Friday!!!!

While I was talking to my SO last night, I asked if he was having bun and cheese for easter to which he said NO WAY!! He apparently lives somewhere in the vicinity of the cheese factory which puts off a nasty smell so he can't stand the cheese anymore - LOL!!

Please pray that G-d touches the landlord's heart and chooses us to be his new tenants!!! My boys would NOT be uprooted from their current school and we would be able to save for a house and I would be around the corner from my Dad (he's getting older...and you never know)!

Thanks Guys...Yes, I saw it last night...it is nice! It's small ...but we just need a start...this would be perfect! You know when EVERYONE thinks you are going to fail and you go out on a limb to prove otherwise! Like Nbees said...We haven't come this far to give up now! I KNOW that Ken & I will work and we just need this break to get a good start!

The guy is so nice...he likes that I am from the area and know certain people that he knows! But, we have a family of 4(eventually 5) and some people just have 1,2, or 3...it's SO competitive!

Mi go store yesterday to pick up BUN, now mi did in deh on Monday the bun was $7.00. Yesterday dem raise the prise to $14.00 fi the same size bun...mi start gwaan BAD and other people start say the same thing. So, the owner give us the bun fi the $7.00. Now, this is the next thing. On Monday they had a whole shelf of the small cheese...yesterday all the small cheese gone and only the big tin left selling for $30...dem musah rass mad...mi just pay fi mi 2 bun an lef.
