I meet hubby when I went down on a JANUARY teaching course with my college. He was in high school and I taught his high school band. We didn't really talk on my first trip. I feel in love with teaching down there and changed my major. Then I went back several times. They had another trip in June for the band festival and he was graduating that summer. We final linked up and became friends in 1/99 and started dating in 2000. He wanted to date in 99 but I told him he had to be the legal age

leads me to a question....is it just me or even though some of our S/O are younger, that they seem very mature....when i met mr jengles in talking to him, i was surprised how together he was, setting and meeting goals and all that and in talking to him, i never really noticed the age difference, he's 8 yrs younger than me, but sometimes i feel like i'm 8 yrs younger than him. cause i like to party and he likes to stay home.

Theres 4 years different between our ages. My brother is his age and has always said he thinks I am is younger sister because of my energy. My hubby doesnt like to stay home all day. We still like to go out but its not that heavily drinking party I was use to. He is more calm. Thank goodness he knew all of our college was wild. Well if her eyes are blue now they may stay the same. its recessive means its just harder to get that gene, but it doesnt mean you CAN"T get it. My sister had blue eyes when she was a baby. She now has changing colr eyes...very freaky at times...but mainly they are green. I doubt she will get Brown eyes. I don't have brown eyes either but the recessive light eye color in my family comes out in either hazel green, grey or blue....its really hard to get dark brown eyes.

I too agree Kingston has gone downhill 100%. I don't care how many new business they put up, it's just complete chaois and MAD RASSNESS (if dat a word). And don't get me started on traffic. I can't remember excatly where I was, but I left the car in a parking lot and we had to find the attorney's office. We didn't know it was another 3 miles down the road, so, we just jumped into a taxi. The driver wanted (TRIED) to charge us $7500/almost $100/US to go 3 frigging miles. Now, I'm with my mom so, I have to be respectful and not cuss...well, he didn't know he was messing with a 2 CRAZY A$$ Jamaicans. Soonnnn as he heard my tell im too dutty bad words (hear him)...ma'am, that will be $200.00/Jamaican. Mi and mommy just walk weh and seh dutty john'crow. Mi a tell you, if they can get over on you, they will.

You know back in the day, my grandmother and auntie them would make me take off all my jewlery before I went to Kingston. The Kingston I knew as a child as gone. My dad sisters lived there and I use to go up for holidays and on weekend and we had so much freedom. Now, my auntie say they have to be careful anytime they go out. Where they live is in a gated community and it's okay, but once you leave it's just not the same. She was robbed last year getting out of her car off a constant spring road near the police station. What you up to girl? I just booked a trip to JA (Sunset Jamaica Grande) for June for some family and friends. They had a trip for 5 days for $686 per person, so Ray's going to stay there with me and doesn't even know it. I'm going to surprise him if I can keep my big mouth shut that long. lol

HHHHHHHaaaaaa my girl that is so true. That's a good price for Jamaica Grande. I like it their it's really nice. If you're going to be there check out Magarita Ville on Wednesday night. I can't remember what nights I use to go to Amesia and there's another club. I know Ray is going to be surprise. Poor Marcel, he thinks I'm coming to Jamaica in June. His friend is picking me up at the airport next month April 9th and I can't wait. I'll also be in Jamaica in June, so maybe we can link up. I stay at my dad's house in Trelawny. We pass Trelawny on our way to Ochi, so it's not that far away. I go to Margaritaville a lot when I go to Ochi since I normally stay in town and I love it. last Month Ray wanted to go to Amnesia and I got dressed and we walked to him mom's house, but I was so tired that I layed down and went to sleep. We never made it, so I'll be sure to go this time. We are going 6/2-6/6, but I may stay a little longer. I'll have to see.

I would love to meet up if our travel dates are the same. Hmmmm, your guy cousins will be there huh? I'm thinking if I should I bring Ray or not???? I think I'll bring him...

I hear you, I think the food at the Grande is better, but there is just more of everything at the RIU. I wish the Grande would upgrade their rooms a bit and have them include fridges like at the RIU, something in me can't justify paying more at the Grande when i'm actually getting less.

JaEng: That sounds nice.... AirJamaica was running a super special... We booked last week and was able to get that price. But, since if was so cheap, two of us got our rooms for like $800. Me being the person that I am. I always check to see if I could have found the trip cheaper, so I looked and it has gone up to like 772 per person. Check out airjamaicavacations and play with the dates... Even try to book your hotel and air seperate and see what the rates come out to be. They are running what they call a Springtastic Sale" Check cheapcaribbean too... The reason why I like AJ Vacations is beause you can pay on it and your transportation is included....

I agree Jengles.... I loved having the fridge in the rooms, but I rarely used the liquor. The RIU was about $5 more than SJG, but I wanted us to be within walking distance of the grocery stores, markets and clubs and that's the only reason I picked SJG. I love the RIU rooms as pools and in Ochi, I think the beach is a lot better near the RIU.
