First of.. Congrats to everyone who filed after the fee increased and already gotten interview done.

I filed back in late July 07.. till date, I haven't heard anything from INS at all about my case. sad.gif It's getting really annoying and all we can do is wait... Do you think it has got to do with the local office? I am not sure about that IMO. There are a couple ppl on this board that filed with NSC in November and already has their interview or even Oath ceremony. I looked at their office timeline for N400 and still show working on 20JUL ????? What is going on?

Sorry.. I just need to vent. I want to be able to vote this election. crying.gif

I applied at Nebraska back in September, 2007, and have had my fingerprints done, but have heard nothing since then.

It is very frustrating to see others who applied after I did and have already had their interview and oath ceremony. But, it really depends on the local office, not Nebraska, as to when your interview will be.

I really want to vote in this election too!!!!!!

Good luck to you.

My sympathies with how frustrated you're feeling... it took them over a year to process my Adjustment of Status -- whereas, at the time, most people were getting their applications processed in a matter of months (or weeks for the CSC), which, in turn, had the knock-on effect of delaying when I could apply for naturalization. mad.gif Mind you, I would have still been stuffed with the fee increase, even if the VSC had been vaguely competent at the time and processed my app efficiently. Oh, how I look forward to the day when I can wave goodbye to dealing with the moronic USCIS forever...

Fingers-crossed your app is processed in time and you can vote! (I hope to be able to vote too, but apparently the Boston office is still processing May 27 2007...)
