I would like to share my breathtaking experience during my Interview at the USEM yesterday. I know it wouldn't been possible without the help of the Visa Journey site/forums and for all of you guys for letting me enlighten throughout the entire process.
3:45 AM - Arrived at the Embassy, My appointment was 7:30AM
( I'm very early he..he… so excited. )
6:15 AM – After a very long time of waiting, the guard finally call those Immigrant & K1 Visa Category. We fell in line towards the Embassy Gate.
6:25 AM- The guard on Duty checked my Appointment Letter and ID.
I stapled my new appointment slip gave by SLEC since I under gone Sputum Test.
(To: Applicants who missed their interview appointment due to additional test conducted by St. Luke's Medical Extension Clinic
Case No: MNL2007 XXXXXX
Principal Applicant:_________
New Appointment Schedule at US Embassy: March 3, 2008
(Two working days after completed your medical examination)
This is your new appointment schedule. Please follow the time indicated in your original appointment letter on the day of your interview)
6:29 AM – Enter at the Embassy premises, our bags passed through the electronic scanner for security purposes. (One Lady detected an electronic gadget on her bag, so the guard instructed to leave her things on them. (Maybe she's not aware for that!) Thanks to Sheriff Uling for Manila Embassy K1 Visa Guide. It helps a lot!!!
6: 55 AM – Proceed at the Immigrant Visa Unit area. The guard instructed me to occupy the last blue chairs on the second row.
7:20 AM –The Lady Officer announced to prepare our DS FORMS:
2 sets DS 156 (print online with barcode) with photos attached on it
2 sets DS 157 (one validated from the bank, and one from the packet)
1 set of DS 156 K
Sad to say that one lady beside me haven't yet receive her packet 4, so she do not have any DS forms to submit. So the Officer and other K1 fiancée advise her to go to Window X to get her packet like what the other K1 fiancée did.
