Guess it's the Kentucky thing.) I'm actually rather big on the Goth scene, even though there's not much of it here, and am an aspiring painter/photographer. My fiance's in the Canadian Navy, and he's already been talking with US recruiters about joining the service here after we're married. Biggest problems/stressors right now are not knowing when the wedding's going to be - we keep going back and forth on a small 2-person ceremony or trying to plan something big for all the family. Plus my parents are making things rather difficult. They're quite religious and are making a big deal that he's Catholic (and not exactly practicing.) I converted a while ago, so it's no big deal to me, but I don't think they ever got over that either...
Anyway, this rather turned into a small novel....suffice to say, I'm really glad I found this site! The support and advice is very appreciated!
