Husband had interview in Amman in Jordan. He had all of his multitude of paper work and he was still deemed ineligible and told that his papers would be sent back to the NVC.

Can anyone help?

hi jewelolivia

i am so sorry to hear you have been denied a visa.

have you called the consulate and asked why he was denied?

e mail the consulate and ask the same questions if you are unable to get through via telephone.

if you do not have the assitance of your senator/congreesman---then call today, sign a release and ask them to make an inquiry on your behalf for you. usually the consulate will be more specific as to the reason for the denial.

what type of proof did your husband show the CO?

do you have any RED FLAGS?

if you did not include letters from family and friends when you filed and at the interview try to get some now and email and fax them to the consulate. these letters will verify you indeed are a real couple who want to be together. they need to have the person full name, address and phone number in the letter showing that they are real people too.

have you read the thread on denied case? it starts out asking to have this subject piined so try to skip over the first few pages and find the info that is posted there that will help you. here's the link>>

i think that is the procedure that they have been used to do since some monthes ago that is to return petitions to USCIS and not to approve them.................

Hi Jewelolivia,
I'm sorry to hear about your 221(g). There are things that you can do right now to get more information.
1. Get your US Representative's and/or Senator's office involved.
1a. Contact the embassy to see if a senior consular official can review the case before it is sent off.
2. Fill out a "Freedom of Information Act" request to get the consular officer's report of the interview
3. Become acquainted with the process that may (but hopefully not) follow.
4. Ask around here on VJ and/or other online communities for a good immigration attorney.

I found some pages that may be helpful to you.

The most important thing you have to believe is that at the end you will be approved regardless of when..................
