Tonight I was watching Mr. Holand's Opus, which I've seen like 10 times and EVERY time I bawl like a baby. Especially at the part where he's singing "Beautiful boy" to his son and he sings "Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful, Beautiful....Cole"
Hits me right in the heart!
Two others are:
Field of Dreams... Just hum the music to that one and I'm a goner!
A league of their own... the end gets me every time
Don't know why two baseball movies but hey, they make me cry like a baby!
Name yours!

Not a movie...
but Ray Bourque hoisting the Stanley Cup in Colorado after playing so many years with the Boston Bruins. My girlfriend at the time looked across the couch at me and said "you've got to be kidding me!"
Obviously I couldn't marry her...

It's like my favorite movie from my teenage years....and I am so pissed at myself for not buying it when it got out of the Vault after the 10 years....now I have no idea when I wil be able to put my hands on that movie
Notebook too!
And any animal movie that has an animal dying in it

Like Black Beauty. I am sensitive with that.

There isn't enough room to name all the movies I've cried at! I used to see Hallmark commercials and bawl my eyes out. I cry when there is a heartwarming ending, I cry when there is sadness. When I think of which movies I've cried at MOST, hmmm might be What Dreams May Come and E.T., Notebook. I remember watching movies with my kids when they were little and I would bawl like a baby...of course my kids didn't understand, but I was glad that they did understand that movies, books...could make a person cry. I bawled at all the Benji movies.

When I was a kid, I used to cry when the little white dog got kicked in Benji.

I can't read your thread, Laura, because I'm worried I'll read the ending to a movie I haven't seen yet. That's happened SO many times on VJ and it drives me nuts.

Steel Magnolias.... my all-time favourite cryathon. I kept thinking that the more I saw it the less I'd cry. But it doesn't work that way. Now I just start crying sooner because I know what's coming up.

City of Angels is another make-me-cry movie. But really.... I cry at anything. I'm a big suck.

I remember my first date with this guy I really liked.... he took me to see "The Champ". I was a MESS. But at least I wasn't like my daughter on her first movie date with a guy.... she had the flu and threw up in his lap.

This is me too.
When we went to see Into the Wild I had to wait until the entire theater emptied because I was on the verge of a REALLY loud bawl. I ended up with a headache from holding it in.
We're about to pop Away From Her into the dvd... the trailer made me bawl so I'm in trouble.
We rate the movies by its Hanky Count i.e., "Oh, that one is a 9 hanky"

I TOTALLY agree with the Mr. Holland's Opus thing.....I LOVE that movie, its absolutely on my top 5 fav's.
I remember crying hysterically for like 3 hours after I saw 'The Cure' (Brad Renfro & Joseph Mazzello)
The Notebook-shamelessly-haha. I MADE Steve watch it, even though he didn't want to because it was a 'chick flick'. He cried in my arms like a baby for about an hour afterward.
Evening (Claire Danes, Toni Collette)-cried like a baby
Juno-boohoo
Legends of the Fall
A River runs through it
I can't even name all the movies I cry through....I pretty much dig kind of tragic movies though-so I cry a lot!

This movie made me really cry....a story about frienship, growing pains between friends and compassion....I get misty eyed thinking about the movie.
