I know you can't take a cell phone to the Embassy, but can you take it to the medical exam?

I think its okay to bring phone. I brought mine when I had medical examination last feb 2007.
Yes you may! Text and call your friends, fiancee, family...play games on your cell just to pass the time waiting...hehehehe!

They do not seem to like it if you take cell phone pictures. lol. The gaurd gave my wife and her friends a nice warning.

You will need it especially if you're waiting for so long. I played "snake" while waiting for my turn and texted my sister whenever she would lose my sight
