Okay so here's the deal, I am a Canadian citizen living in Canada with American wife and son. We were married in the states August of 2005, my son was born there in February 2006. I had lived in the states since I was 13 family moved back and forth and back and forth. Anyways, we decided to move to Canada when my student visa expired... I went to high school in the states, and graduated college with my Chrysler CAP program degree, then we moved to Canada in November of 2006 we are still in the process of my wife getting here permanent residence here in Canada, my son had dual citzen. We don't want to be living in Canada anymore just many issues, and would love to reside back in the states. Not sure which visa route is best, what's estimate cost? Can I move back without having to have that, or do I have to have something? I have my usa drivers license still, and Canada drivers license, and I have ssn card just says not authorized to work. Please help me understand this, just crazy with all the laws changing due to 9/11. helpsmilie.gif

Why dont you read more for DCF here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...om&page=dcf
According to me DCF is the best, you might wait and see what other VJ will suggest.

Good Luck! good.gif

I suggest a DCF (Direct Consular Filing) as well as long as your American husband has 'status' (LPR or dual citizenship) in Canada, it would be the fastest way to go.
