My interview is on 1st April at Chennai. My case was shipped from NVC to Chennai on 26th Feb. How long does it take to get packet 4? I want to finish my medicals asap. Anybody else waiting or have got their packet 4?

My case is at Mumbai consulate for Apr 15. NVC sent out appointment packet (printed on Feb 21st) and case file to consulate on Feb 26th. The petitioner in the US already received interview notice on Feb 29th. However, the applicant in India hasn't received it yet. Once they receive it, they will be able to schedule medical exams and vaccinations. The medical instructions are on Dept. of State website - link will be in the letter you will receive.

How did u come to know that ur case has been forwarded to chennai on 26th feb when ur case completed on 18th jan how come a long delay in frowarding ur case...mine got completed on 26th feb..how will i get to know when they have send them to chennai???

How did you find out your interview date?? Our DS 230 arrived at the Chennai Consulate on the 25th of Feb, and we have emailed to request our date but no luck yet. Where did you get the date information?!

Hi! I called NVC and DOS and got the info about my interview date. I also probed further regarding when the case was forwarded. Chennai has recently become appointment post and NVC is responsible for scheduling the interviews, hence the delay.
As far as DCF is concerned the interview will be scheduled by the respective embassy. You will have to contact the embassy regarding the interview date or check the interview list which is put on the website by the 15th of each month.
