greeneyedgirlfl - I know so many people who have had amazing times at Disneyworld...I'd love to go some day.

I am in the same boat -- we have very few photos of us actually together -- we've got the bad tourist shots (meaning, we asked another person to take a photo, and well they were horrible!!
) I do have a lot of photos of him, and he hates having his picture taken, but I'm the one who always has the digital camera!! I'll have to see if I can dig any up!Although I do plan on getting more when I see him next week, going to make him get over his hate of pictures of himself!!!
You know what are great? Photobooth photos! I have dozens of them.

These are from our stay by Eel River, which is where we holidayed a day after meeting for the first time:
It was an ideal place to visit, because it was so serene and quiet and it meant we had plenty of time alone together

That was taken at Comic-con in San Diego towards the end of my first visit: Alex & I are in the middle, and the other people are all forumers from the same forum we met on. It was great meeting so many people - and they were all truly lovely people.

Walt Disney World (abbreviated WDW) is located in Orlando, Florida, and is made up of several theme parks. The four major parks are the Magic Kingdom (the original park, where Cinderella's castle is located), EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
People usually say "Disney", "Disney World", "the Magic Kingdom", "the Mouse" or just "Orlando" to refer to the park in Florida.
Actually, it was the second time he came over...our first date was the Kennedy Space Center...he's a big space program fan, and we went on the behind the scenes tour and the IMAX theater show...he was in heaven!!! We also went to MGM Studios (called Hollywood Studios now), and, of all things, Gatorland...
The second trip was Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, Magic Kingdom, and Islands of Adventure....he loved all of it! And I loved sharing it with him!

here is one pic of us, it is in a motel room in Davao Philippines... motels don't have good connotation in the Philippines. Here it is just a place for lover's short time tryst, minimum stay is 3 or 4 hours (guess 3-4 hours is long enough to get rid of body heat
)... Now this one here is a motel adjacent to the hotel we stayed in when Rick was here the last time. they have very interesting themed rooms : chopper room, earthquake rooms, room of cards, titanic room, car room, and this one is the cage room or jungle room... we explored some of the the rooms with the help of one of the staff on the last day of our stay (both our hotel & the motel have same owner and i think same housekeeping staff. We were not allowed to take photos but I sneaked my camera in... Had we known rooms were more interesting there we would have opted to stay there and in a different room everyday .. but of course, it was not possible coz my kids stayed with us up to the last day... hmmm, maybe next time here's also a link to our online photo album:

WOW! Look at those big trees and the the very clear water! Lovely, lovely! The photobooth photo is really cute
It was beautiful - gorgeous weather, warm water, and when we were tired of swimming we inflated airbeds and used those as rafts!

Disney World is much closer....and in my backyard!!!

You will!! You will! I'd love to go back -- I went as a child with my parents and brother, and went again in high school with a school group. But I'd love to go again as an adult. My brother just took his wife and daughter there last year for her birthday. One of teammates at work just went with her husband and kids. They have fabulous family vacation packages!!!
But so you know in the meantime - Busch Garden Williamsburg is about 3 hours away from the Raleigh area. And Kings Dominion (a little north of Richmond, VA) is a few hours away too. They aren't the same as Disney World, but they are amusement parks too!!

Maybe they are finishing all the december filers so they can focus on us January filers soon... I hope they will clear up those who have been waiting longer too.
I do pray you get your approval soon KitEEgirl, in no time, when you least expect it, it will come, who knows you are one of those who won't get email nor update on online status but just receive your NOA2 hardcopy in the mail.

There is still no pattern in how they chose approval at all, it still feels like a 'draw lots'... and i won't be surprised if we start seeing february approvals next week.. but still we are moving up the ladder and sooner or later we will get our approval.
and another good thing is before the year ends we will be in our SO's arms for good.... no more temporary visits and no more sad goodbyes next year. let's just hang on tight and keep the faith. God speed everyone.

I would feel strange calling it a 'wedding dress' since it's not the classic big white dress. It's knee-legnth, black with a white floral print, and is very flattering on. Perfect for our quick little civil ceremony! I plan to stop by the florist and get a simple bouquet of a few bright flower, like maybe gerber daisies tied with a ribbon.

Do you have a wedding schedule already? What kind of wedding will you have? We will have an outdoor wedding but since my SO is still scouting for a place, i still can't decide what type of wedding dress I will have... but i want it to be simple, light & breezy. i am not into the big wedding gown also.
Don't worry, will all get our NOA2 very very soon... just hang in there.
