I'm doing ok. Dennis bought his plane ticket yesterday...he'll be here from June 28th to July 8th. I can't wait!

I understand...I miss him so much when he's not here! I suppose that's the only advantage of never having lived near each other...I've never gotten a chance to get used to having him around.

We talked and talked about how long he should be here...he gets three weeks of vacation and gets paid out for them when he leaves. So we decided to compromise...he's taking a week and a day or two of vacation and we won't touch the rest so there will be about two extra weeks of pay when he quits. We think it's worth it

Umm 3 months hahahaha.....you know I am laughing at ya but yes I imagine that is just as hard....a year completely sucks...I was singing Christmas tunes to my clients today saying I am thinking of then cause hopefully just hopefully my man will be here by then LOL!

I dunno...sometimes I think it might be better if we stayed apart longer. The month after he leaves is more painful than once I've gotten back into a routine of not having him here. Although I suppose that's easy for me to say since we haven't been apart very long...comparatively, at least. It kills me when he's not here...and it kills me when we're together and then we have to part again...I think it's just miserable no matter what.

Good Idea and hopefully mon't be too long before he's back to stay! Whats the longest you have been together on a visit?

I know!! I go through that every once in awhile "WTF am I doing...marrying a man I've only seen a handful of times."...but I just can't deny that it's right.

Big night tonight for approvals - 4 January filers so far, with the last one being a 1-31 filer - looks like the second half of the month is starting to get a serious look.

Congrats E-dude, and the other folks who were approved in the last couple days. And thanks to all of you for your kind words on our approval. I'm still on the NOA2-high, although I haven't been able to talk to Greivin, so he still doesn't know! It's just not as wonderful when you can't share it with the person who matters most.

I'm still very, very thankful, and now I can focus all my positive energy on Sunny, Heather, Jeroen&Michelle, shes, and Blake's approvals!!! And all the other January folks, too. Oh, and aravis and the Feb's people. And everyone else I forgot to mention! (I feel like I'm accepting an oscar...)

And for everyone who can't stand being away for their loved ones, either it's been 2 months or a year for the last visit, stay strong! it's the last struggle! just think of how wonderful it will be when you finally are together again I haven't seen Bryan for 6 months, and there are still a few months to wait. When you feel sad, just think of the moment when you will see him/her at the airport next time it usually puts a smile on my face to imagine his fingers touching my face after so many months of absence.


NVC got our petition. They sent us a letter, the date on the letter was May 22nd. yes, 8 days ago. i'm not sure when it arrived in the mailbox, but apparently no-one in the house where Bryan lives thought of giving it to him when they received it! grrrrrr I'm glad he's moving out in 2 weeks!
And they misspelled my name on that NVC letter... they wrote Cecil instead of Cecile (damn it's only 6 letters and no-one gets it right!). I guess I can't do anything to change it until I receive packet 3...

Ok now for my honesty again...I am terrified you guys.......I don't know why and I am sure others def experience it too....but seeing all these especially the ones after mine is driving this girl nutty! It is like I don't wanna be looking on here but then again I love the support so it is all bittersweet this VJ is haha.....
I am praying every night and every day for our approval as well as others! I seriously do not know how people like Sarah (estadia) stay so sane throughout all this waiting!!! it is a BAD thing they make us do for love!!!!

This morning in germany, Cassi go to sleep and before i go to work, i look only for fun on the USCIS-Page and see that we were approved.
I was so surprised, that i called Cassi at once to say the good news. We can't stop our call, so i come too late at work, lol

We are the last january fillers (75 on igors list), so the approval comes 2 month earlier that i tought.
I hope all filers will be such wonderfull surprised from USCIS at the next time :-)

good going cali USICS! guys i hav a mixup situation in hand. we had asked for our visa papers to be sent to Indian embassy by the NVC, however they sent it to Singapore seeing my last resident address. Though I am willing to take uo my interview there, I am not sure whether is its an advantage or disadvantage. I am also not sure of what documents will I need. Actually I am in India right now for a vacation and managed to collect police cleaance from passport office, medical examination (sealed though I do not know if they approve in Singapore), TD and MMR vaccinations (vericilla I had chickenpox before). I intend to colect the actual police certificate from the Singapore Indian embassy.

Any of you hav any suggestions? comments?

btw my fiance is not sure of how to arrange the wedding in the US. shes in CA and wants to know what should be done to get marriage certificate and begin the AOS process. I dearly need a EAD on entry, is JFK trustworthy? cos if i land there, I will have to travel over to the otherside of the continent again.

I can't really help with the rest, but the marriage certificate will need to be picked up in person - recommended a month or so in advance. I believe it is then valid for three months (but you have to get married within three months anyway). I understand that it's also better if you can both go in person to get the marriage certificate, although I don't believe it's a requirement. This is all just what I understand from reading websites.

where do we have to go inorder to get marriage certificate? where should we register?
