Aww thanks so much Rachel! Yeah I have my hopes up so dang high that we get approved SOON so we can hopefully sort through the rest of this process QUICKLY as well! I am still just really hoping to have him here by August but in the back of my mind I am thinking how badly I want him here in July or SOONER!!!!

Heyy no we dint get NOA2. I asked Blake to add to the waiting list lol. Bcos we a early january filers. sent I 129F 29Dec and got NOA1 on 3rd Jan. But the hard copy we got only on 11th Jan. So we are also January filers in tht sense.

Ah, I was just kidding then.

Well, of course. And, well, if it has to be me who paves the way for January British CSC filers, I'll gladly take on that burden.

ANOTHER change of plan! I'm thinking a December wedding may just be feasible if I am approved this month (week?).

Umm of course it would! We have a Sept 27th wedding planned haha! So yeah I am cutting it close! BUT like I said my lady that we are renting the place from is letting me be flexible with dates if needed I am sooo excited though! I told Gareth just maybe if we hear in next week or two and he manages to get his stuff all set up in June he may even be in my arms in July!!! I know I am jumping the gun but man how I long and pray and hope etc...that my dream for that comes true!

On a different note I am applying for a new job today. It is with same organisation but a different building (a lot closer to our flat!) and it would be a promotion and more money to boot! I currently train special needs adults to do piece work for different local factories and such and also skillbuilding (aka keeping them entertained when no paid work is ready). The new job I would be a case worker for prisoners re-entering society......could be interesting! But I am up for the challenge and of course more money!!!!!

Grocery shopping after work today and also popping into cake decorating store as I am making my daughters 6th birthday cake myself for her party this Saturday! Chat later everyone and let's hope today brings more approvals and touches!!!

Thanks for asking.... well, it's been over 3 weeks already. We're deffinately not in January anymore but I'm so busy that time really passes quickly. After so many years of waiting, we feel so close! Hopefully it wont be much longer!

I was like you, when I saw I was touched, I thought that at least my petition wasn't lost......and a week later I was approved!!
So I am sure you may have some really good news soon!!!


And to see that sunnybear have a wedding date in September makes me feel good!!

Don't forget that VJ represents perhaps 5% of people who file - and it may be less than that. It's quite possible that today was full of approvals for people in the other 95% of filers.

Ugh was so hoping to see some approvals when I got home from work.....darn darn DARN! WAKE UP CSC....approve some VJ'ers puh-leaseeee hahaha....

I am disappointed by the day's performance also, but do not despair anyone, just remember to keep breathing. e-mail notifications generally go out at the end of the CA working day and since (it seems) most of the active participants here are the overseas SO's they may not pick up notifications until morning for them. In all liklihood we'll see some approvals tomorrow (for today) and then the standard 5-7 updates that take place for this week as we go into next week. Let's see what this looks like in the morning.

OK, as promised the updated list follows. Now, I've added Raghu as a January Filer and also added the approved Wayne and Nueng. Both of these filers consider themselves January filers even though the date the application was mailed was at the end of December. We're an inclusive group and so since they consider themselves January filers then, for goodness sake, that's what they are. This does change the percentages a little bit

I'm so sad to come home at the end of the night having Igor's list look the exact same way it did this morning. And yesterday for that matter...

I really thought we were on to something earlier with Rachel getting that touch. BUMMER! What's the bright side to all this... ummm... maybe the deal is every Thursday and Friday the CSC will shoot through 33 NOA2's but work on other petitions every other day of the week. Yeah, that's it. That means tomorrow will be another big day!

Well, it seems to be about a week between people receiving touches and being approved - so it could still mean something!

Maybe I'm wrong, but if I remember good for last weeks it was on friday that we saw almost all the approvals.
So I'm pretty sure that in some hours we will see changes!

It's so quiet - where are all the usual forumers? I know most of our American fellows are still asleep, but it's usually a little livelier than this.

I have huge semi-circles under my eyes today; was tossing and turning a bit last night. I'd been asleep for an hour and a half when I received a phonecall. I'd fallen asleep so quickly I hadn't responded to Alex's last message and he was concerned he'd offended me. Um, no - but waking me at 2 am is perhaps not the best way to confirm that!

i'm guessing i have a nightmare for the last two days. So i only need to wake up
Igor's list haven't been moving for two days. that's so depressing...

Keep cool It's 9 am in California now, they will start too work, i'm sure about it.
Be happy, in France its a huge 5 days weekend now. Most of the peeps are not working till Tuesday. but me, I'm at work

About the approvals, I also saw Igor's list isn't moving that much...
Maybe tomorrow is going to be a better day!! Not everybody is checking uscis, and need to wait several more days before knowing they got approved!
Like for me, I've been approved last monday, but my fiancé still didn't received the NOA2!
Keep your hopes high!! It is not always easy but they have to move forwards the petitions!!

This is a very good point. Not all of us are checking the USCIS website or our e-mails every day! Nor do people think to come to VJ to update their timeline, especially if they are not regular posters.
