Ok, so my wife has her interview on 7 dec. The check list we got back says to bring her birth cert but the original was already submitted to them ? has anyone had this problem before and what can i do about it as i dont think we have enough time to get a replacement.
And if anyone has the phone number to the embassy from the states that would help to. and the number to schedule a medical.

Why did she send them her original birth certificate? They don't even ask you to mail in the birth certificate - you take that with you to the interview.

I guess she'll have to get another one.

The number to book the medical should have been on the forms that they sent her.

There is no number 'from the states' to call the Embassy (consulate). There is a US phone number to call the US State Department (which the consulate falls under). That number is (202) 663-1225.
