Just wondering the process of an RFE. Does the RFE come from a specific USCIS Adjudicator? When you send the evidence back, do you send it to the same address that you sent your original application (assuming it's still in the same place and hasn't been transferred)? Do you send it addressed to a specific USCIS worker?

I am waiting for my tax transcript for 2007 and was thinking of sending the package without it. I don't think they would send me an RFE; but who knows.

Thanks.

No, you can't send your document without enclosing your RFE letter from USCIS. I sent documents without hard copy from USCIS but it was a waste of time.

you can try it may get through.

When you get a RFE it comes with a cover sheet, the cover sheet must be returned with the info they requested. I have been told by USCIS"do not send any info without our request." However, they did tell me that "you may send any other items with the requested info that you feel may help us approve the case." I hope this helps... john&jean
