I had a quick question which I posted in the Canada section but figure that posting here as well might help.

I will be submitting the I-130 for my wife who lives in Montreal and I was looking ahead and read over some scans of the CR1 / IR1 interview letter that someone posted on another forum and noticed that they require records of having listed vaccinations. My wife moved to Montreal five years ago from China and she has no memory of receiving any records of vaccinations and doesn't believe she can get such documents. My question is, what can we do in this case? Obviously some would be easy to satisfy such as the tetanus one since that one is every 10 years I believe. But how about those that are given when one if a baby? How would we provide documentation for these? I appreciate any advice.

I'm not sure if the process if the same for those applying from China but in case it is how would one go about to acquire such records? In the likelihood that such documents cannot be received what do you suggest that can be done?

Hi: I was raised in canada but had no vaccination record - I too was a bit concerned but when I went to have the physical the panel physician asked me questions and based on the fact that I was born and raised here and based also on my year of birth he determined which vaccinations I needed to meet the requirements. I would assume that this would be the case with your wife also - its a good question to ask the physician's office when you set up the medical appointment but it should be nothing major - at the most I would think it may mean that your wife has to have a few extra immunizations.
