We submitted our Packet 3 (K3) on 2/13/08 at Mumbai Consulate at the counter. We called DOS today (2/25/08) only to find out that they are not showing Packet 3 in their system as having been received....Dept Of State rep. asked us to wait one more week as it may take up to 3 weeks.

We are concerned that there is some sort of problem because our Packet 3 hasn't been entered. Is the "entering" time normal? Anyone going thru Mumbai have a similar experience? Should we be concerned?

Any advice?

There was holiday om 18th .... and there was weekend too.. NVC, consulates are closed on US holidays and weekends. ALWAYS CALCULATE WORKIND DAYS FOR YOUR PAPER WORK PROCESSING AND NOT WEEKEND OR HOLIDAYS.

All is fine i think, wait for 7 working days for it to enter into the system
