if you 2 year green card has expired but you've got a 1 year extension letter, but still no official 10 year green card is is still possible to apply for citizenship....will this put our process in limbo?.....i'm confused as to what to do, because at the pace the uscis is moving its seems the time for citizenship elegibility will come around before we recieve the 10 year card.... can we apply for citizenship with the extension letter and the old expired conditional green card?

Yes you can file for Citizenship before the Conditions have been removed.... many people do this as it forces them to make a desission on your removal of conditions....

Yes, we are filing next week or so (once we get our IRS Tax Transcripts in the mail) and do not have the 10 year greencard (see timeline in signature).
