Does anybody know what's the american equivalent size of clothes to brazilian size?
Like for example i'm 38 in Brazil, i also wear some 36 and sometimes 40, but the average is 38, what would that be in american size, because I asked my hubby and he said i should be 2 or 0 size laughing.gif I can't imagine being 0 tongue.gif what's after that, -0? -2? laughing.gif

The sizes here are like 0,2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16 etc.... but I am not sure how they compare to those in Brazil, I am sure there has to be some sort of chart on the internet somewhere, will try and look it up.

I have gotten 2 pairs of jeans in Brazil...they have been 40 and 42. Here in the states I wear an 8 or a 10. Hope this helps a little.

Nessa,
I just sent some American clothes over to my Fiance. She hasn't received them yet (anyday now), but it sounds like she is your size. When I was there I bought her some Ellus Jeans, and Zoomp, and she was typically a 36 or 38 Brasil sizes as well.

I sent her a bunch of different American sizes... 6, 7, and even 8 I believe just to see where she would be at.

As soon as she gets them and tries them on, I'll let you know as best I can about what size you would most likely be. good.gif

I searched all over the place and nothing.

I had my fiance take her measurements in centimeters. I converted them to inches. Then called some online clothing retailers, and came up with exact sizes.

For men, I think the sizes numbers for Brazil are similar to Europe. Probably for women too.

Nessa and all--

If you happen to be near one, and you want to find out what size you are, you should visit Zara. Their tags have Brazilian/European and American sizes on them so you can see the conversion (i.e. 38=6), and I found that Zara clothing sizes are the most similar to real American sizes. But if you shop in American mall stores (i.e. Express, Ltd., Gap) you'd be a 4, and at very expensive places you might be like a 2! smile.gif The more American women pay the smaller their size tag gets...hmmm... but anyway, if Charles is going to buy you something from a mall store, I'd go with a 4. Although sounds like you're a "real" 6...whatever that means smile.gif
