I NEED HELP MAN.....

Got married to my dream boy on 14 july 07...actually my husbands from states.
he filed the actual thing on 24 aug...and the processing started on nov 9.....
when ever i check 'case status on line it says "CASE RECEIVED AND PENDING"
Y IS IT LIKE THIS.....WHATS HAPPENING MAN.....
it has being 7 months and i have not received any thing nor heard from the embassy.
IT SUCKS........ITS HARD TO STAY AWAY FROM MY DARLING
EACH DAY GOES LIKE HELL ....M JUST TIRED MAN...TIRED OF WAITING N WAITING...

WE THOUGHT THAT THIS SO CALLED K3 VISA WILL BE QUICK BUT ITS TAKING TO MUCH TIME...

HAS SOMEBODY GONE THROUGH THIS SITUATION WHO CAN HELP ME OUT...
IT WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED....

It does indeed take too long. It hurts us all, you're not alone.
Love delayed is love denied, and it pretty much sinks the whole "pusuit of happiness" thing and leaves us with a whole lot of pursuit only.

People will be able to help you more if you fill out your timeline and do a little work on your end that way.

It might be in administrative review. this is what happened to our I130, it was filed and never touched but our I129F got approved rather quickly.

takes up to 8 months nowadays, you'll have to wait some more

You know, calling once to make sure they didn't lose the paperwork and that it actually is being worked on wouldn't be a bad idea.

What did he file on Aug 24th? I-130? I-129F?



I thought K3 would be quick too. But oh well..

Also, most of us are going through this "situation." If your I-130 or K3 were filed 7 months ago and still have not received or heard anything, I'd call USCIS and make sure that they have your papers. If they have your papers, Id make sure to let them know that its over the six months processing period. Im not sure if it would help but it cant hurt.
