Hi kabayans,

I am so confused about the NBI clearance that I have on hand now.....my old ones were light blue..and on September when I asked my brother to renew it he sent me the new light green one.

Upon asking him why the color is different he said it is the new color.

I know it sounds funny and its not that I dn trust him..its just that he failed to go by himself he aked a friend who is working at the NBI to do the renewal for me(of course with extra cash!)

please do help me......

it depends..

here in the philippines we have 2 color types:
yellow - employment purpose
green - passport/ travel

got mine last december and it's light green.

yea its light green for travel purposes... and ive seen yellow too but that must have been for the employment as what lostgurl18 have said...

I renewed my NBI clearance in January 2008 for travel abroad & the color is light green...Don't worry too much, you got the right document...

I have mine last December , it is light green.

That should be it.

Hi,

Can you help me in getting my NBI clearance? I'm Filipina and living here in Bangkok Thaland for 4 years now. I dont have any ways to get NBI clearance in the Philippines ...My dad get one for me but the problem is instead my name is Theresa A. Rivera,,,,, He wrote in my NBI clearance MA. THERESA WHICH IS WRONG....Can you help me with this?I really need to complete our papers only NBI is missing....I can pay extra to your friend.....if needed...please help......

Hi Theresa,i was wondering how did your father able to get you a NBI clearance since i know that your photo should be taken when applying for one,even if you will just be renewing your clearance,capturing your image is also a must.I hope other members can help you with this.

He brought my picture and the NBI staff scanned it. Hope people can help me here...We are worried about this NBI. Please help.
