Should my wife and I continue keeping our proof of having a relationship, even after she is issued a 2 year conditional green card? Proof of relationship being plane tickets, pictures and such of that nature? Do they interview us again? What's the normal process? Thank you.

Sometimes you can have an interview while removing conditions. But you should have evidence at the time that happens.

Yes you will need to send more evidence of your continued relationship for Removal of Conditions... have a read of the guide here on VJ it has some good info about what is needed....

I put all the stuff for the original visa down in the basement in a box. I started collecting evidence since the AOS upstairs in a file. Once, we fill for LOC in August, that will go downstairs too. Once he gets naturalization approved, probably some time in 2010, we will have a big bonfire and roast some marshmellows over all of it!!!!!

Yes we have a binder that we are filling up right now. I brought such a big binder to our interview. The interview was like wow I don't think I need to see that u guys have enough proof for years.

Yes - keep filing things like bank statements, joint leases, mortgages, etc. You will need to show co-mingling of assets (most important) when you remove conditions. Also you know, pictures, letters or cards addressed to you both and the like. Like jomo's girl said, keep everything together and when time comes, you will only need to photocopy and organize. Me, being the obsessive compulsive that I am, already have my file growing.
good luck, L.

keep all that past, present and future evidence until you remove the conditions on your GC and, furthermore, if you want to, until you apply for naturalization. Get a big box for bills, letters, greeting cards from family and friends (keep envelopes showing common address), ccards and bank statements, travel tickets and itineraries, boarding passes, tax returns, social security stamentes, leases, mortgages, deeds, etc. Put all that evidence showing comingly financial obligations together somewhere easy for you to go and pick up. You'll need all that, again, in order to file for I-751 and N-400.

Yes, keep evidence that spans the entire marriage. That surprises some people sometimes, when they only have documents/bills/etc. from the last few months. They want proof for the entire marriage time span.

Keep all your utility bills, leases, tax returns, cards addressed to you both and cards that you gave to each other, in addition to trip itineraries that you both went on, movie tickets. Its a great habit to just get a file and anything relevant should be put into it. We started it as soon as we got the 2 year GC approved and now we have a huge file of stuff that I am currently going through to put in my packet. good.gif

That's what I did as well - just set aside a large box where I would put in anything that had both of our names on it or could be used as evidence for removing conditions. We do file utility bills, monthly statements, etc, by year, however it was really easy to just go through the year file folders and select a few examples from each year of our credit card statements, our bank account statements, phone bills, etc. to include with the application. I had a huge box of everything else and was able to select a nice mix from a whole variety of materials. We got a home copier in our printer 2 years ago so once we got that I started taking photocopies of things before they were 'filed' to put into the box so even some of the copying was already done. The rest of the immigration stuff from the K-1 on is all stored in another box in the office closet with originals of the various NOAs, APs, etc. stored in the safe box with our passports. It was just a time-consuming but not labourious job to put it all together for the I-751.
