I thought that I was supposed to file with the Nebraska Service Center, but now I see that I file in California on this site http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/tem...00045f3d6a1RCRD

I dont know which one is right, I live in Minnesota

K-1 is filed in California (for Minnesota) directly. Texas and Nebraska don't accept K-1s anymore

wow... things have changed. See William33? This is why some of us stick to OT, which has its own function as well, thankyouverymuch. I wouldn't have had a clue how to answer this without looking it up, which the OP can also do.

Sorry I didnt have k-1 or k-3 in my profile because I havent actually filed for the k-1 yet just preparing the petition now. I understand the link answered my question, I was just double checking because when I do search for service centers based on zip code Nebraska was coming up and I wanted to make sure I was sending it to the right place. Since pp told me that they dont accept k-1 in Nebraska anymore it all makes perfect sense smile.gif

No you're fine. It's a lot to understand and I think the forum is here for double checking.

I was sending a little message to a moderator that some of us old-timers are useless (since when I filed Minnesota went to Nebraska) so he shouldn't admonish us for not venturing out of OT and Moving Here and Regionals. smile.gif
