My mother in law was granted a tourist visa. She will be traveling to the US from Peru. While she is here, we would like to spend som time in Mexico. Are there any issues with her entering the US via plane, spending a week or so in the US and then diving to Mexico for a week? She would then return to the US for a month before returing to Peru. Are there any issues with multiple entries so close together? Or with her leaving from a different point of entry than she arrived?

Thanks in advance for any assistance

Peruvians need visas to go to Mexico, unless they are permanent residents in the US.

And there very well may issues with multiple entries so close together. Best she can do is explain why and hope they let her back in (that is, assuming they let her into the US the first time).

Is the visa multi entry?
