I am keeping positive that the experimental IV bill will work. I sent the full 400$ so I am hoping that is what they look at

I think many of us hoping for you the same. You're the brave pioneer

.
NVC IV fee bill processing is very flakey to begin with. There is something very "manual" about how the payments are accepted.
In August 2007, there was a 1-week window where it seemed all the IV fee payments got lost! (checks weren't cashed either) However, NVC did finally cash the checks and post the payments to the cases
7 weeks after they received them!
In another isolated incident in August, somebody here sent in their AOS fee payment before the AOS fee bill was generated. However, NVC was able to investigate and find the payment and post it to the case faster than if the person had waited to send it in after the AOS fee bill was generated.
Bottom-line, I find it highly unlikely your money will be lost, and any delays you experience because the experimental shortcut fails will be no more than what you would suffer if you had waited for the IV fee bill to arrive. Check the IVR on Saturday, it might be there. And, until a day or two after the IV payment by the other person (who I would keep in touch with right now) here who sent it in on the same day of yours posts to his case, this is all normal delays and there is nothing to even worry about!
