Hi all!
Just wondering for clarification's sake if any of you that brought your fiance here from Egypt on a K1 visa had any problems with a one way ticket to the USA. I already bought a one way ticket, never even thinking that Ashraf would need a round trip ticket. He is 32 and has gotten his release from the military sooooooooooooo..... any thoughts? Do I need to buy a round trip ticket?? helpsmilie.gif

Thanks!

No you don't need a round trip ticket.

I think the problem is if how the ticket is bought . I saw this on my fiances ticket he flew on a one way, but bought his ticket in egypt with cash. but at the bottom it says if ticket is bought with a credit card the credit card holder must be on the flight as well. I have heard of this causing headaches for a few people. you will just want to check with the carrier.

I haven't heard of this either.
I have bought tickets before for my friend in another country with my credit card and she got here without a problem.
The main thing is to have the passenger name correct and make sure they have their ID and passport.
Name and ID are the most important things.
They don't care how you bought the ticket. They just want the money. They are a business.
Sometimes it's easier to sign in if you have the credit card for the kiosk, but if you don't, then they will
check you in without your having to use the kiosk.

Not always true, especially when buying online. My brother in law just flew British Air to marrakech, he bought his ticket online and was required to show the credit card on check in. So I think it depends on the carrier.
