Hello All,

My wife has her interview on 25th of Feb at 8am for her K3. The question I have is that she is planning on reaching the embassy around 7:30am. Since there are usually tons of people that have their interview at 8am that day. Will she be considered late if she does not get into the building before 8am.

What I am trying to say is what is the procedure once you get to the embassy for the interview. It would be great if someone could give me step by step that way I can explain it to my wife.

Thank you
ELW
Arriving at 7:30 for an 8 Am interview is fine. yes.gif Arriving early has nothing to do with when they call you. My husband came at 7:30AM for a 9AM interview, he was first into the building but was called last, after 1PM! wacko.gif

After going inside, first they call you to a window where usually an Indian employee asks a few questions and confirms paperwork. Then one waits for a long time, finally called up to take fingerprints and have an interview with usually an American. At that point one is approved (or otherwise) and the interview is over.

hi,

Its advised to reach the embassy 45 minutes ago, Once you go inside after the security check ... it depends on the CO people when you will be callled. The process is very simple. Dont carry any other stuff other than your paperwork, a pen and a pencil and a bit of money in a transparent plastic bag. NOTHING ELSE IS ALLOWED IN THE EMBASSY.
