Hi everyone!! I am in Toronto, and my fiancee and myself just sent off our I-129K. However I only found out after that Toronto does not handle Visa interviews, only Montreal and I put on the forums "Please cable" my package to Toronto, Canada US consulate. Will USCIS know to send it to Montreal even if I put Toronto, I don't want it to get lost... Also, we did not send an engagement ring receipt because I wear my Grandmother's ring, will this present a problem? Thank you for your suggestions.

That's okay, Jill. They will forward the petition to Montréal automatically. This happens a lot. (I did it myself. ) And, no, it won't harm the petition if you don't have an engagement ring receipt. They look at other supporting evidence.

Oh thank you Crikey!! That makes me feel better, I was so worried that my package would end up in Toronto lost. It's good to know it goes right to Montreal. And I sent so much supporting evidence, lots of boarding passes and photos, but my engagement ring is an antique of the family therefore no receipt. I look forward to this journey

Reason why Toronto isn't an acceptable Consulate is the we all know Toronto (maple Leafs) loose everything!! Yes folks, Im here all night!!
