I tryied to use the example from the site but for some odd reason my computer does not want to open that file. What do you write on the cover letter?

Dear USCIS examiner:


Enclosed is a JOINT I-751 petition for removal of conditions of permanent resident status regarding immigrant spouse, Abcde F Ghijk, and immigrant child, Lmnop Q Rstuv. Attached to the form are 2 checks as follows:

a) Check # 0000 in the amount of $ 545.00 representing the I-751 application and Biometrics fee for Abcde F Ghijk

b ) Check # 0000 in the amount of $ 80.00 representing Biometrics fee for Lmnop Q Rstuv

We have established a happy family life together and we enclose documents to verify the status of our marriage and ongoing relationship, as follows:

1) Documents that establish eligibility to apply for removal of conditions:

a) Copy of front and back of the green cards of immigrant spouse and immigrant child.

b ) Mailers that came with the original green cards of immigrant spouse and immigrant child.

2) Document showing joint ownership of our residence:

4) Financial records showing joint ownership of assets:




5) Copy of records showing Medical, Dental and Life Insurance Coverage of USC Spouse through his employer for 2005 and 2007. These records also show medical and dental coverage for immigrant spouse, and dependent children .

Mine was basically a table of contents as well. Don't forget to put A# and name of petitioner on it - preferably in the subject line.
