The best tea is a little place up the street called Mayo Drive-In... not mayonnaise, that would be Mayo, SC.... They also make peanut butter and banana milkshakes to die for !

I will be coming home soon... I would say in about 2-3 weeks. Mina is in the midst of getting his army permission to travel & an international driver's license. We will probably purchase the tickets one day next week & I will post a ticker !! I can't believe I have something so exciting to look forward to....

Nope. We're traveling back together. That's what my whole anxiety has been about.... I've been waiting for the visa so that I could go home !!! *whew*

We're looking into our tickets, (FIL might be able to get us first class tickets for a really good price through his bank, CIB ) and Mina is out today getting his army permission and international driver's license.

We went shopping last night at Khan El Khalili and I got some things to take back with me !!!

Thanks for all the well wishes and congrats, everybody. I know our journey for the visa may not have seemed so awful because we were together the whole time, but I felt lots of separation anxiety for MY COUNTRY and the first (and most difficult, some say) year of our marriage was spent in what I believe to be a more difficult country!!! And, now it has all melted away. Thank God.
