Hi! All,
My wife, Shely, has mailed in her I-751 on 2/08/08. How long does it usually take for the USCIS to cash check? Also, I believe we can track the progress of the I-751 on the USCIS website if you create account? Where again to you go on the USCIS to track and create an account? Any feedback on others timeline of filing I-751 and progress would be greatly appreciated.
Joyful and Thankful!!!

It took about 10 days after we mailed the petition for the check to clear. The NOA/GC extension you first receive isn't entered into their system so you can't track. You will have to wait until you receive the biometrics appointment, that receipt number will be trackable. Claudeth had her appointment on the 17th of January and they touched the case on the 18th and we have had no activity since.

Good luck good.gif

All I-751s sent to TSC have been being automatically transfered to VSC as of the beginning of December (they were being transfered to CSC). VSC will cash your check and send you the NOA1, which they'll probably issue by the end of the month.

I'm assuming you can check your bank online to see if your check has been cashed. That will be the first indication that your NOA1 has probably been issued. You won't be able to check your case status online until you get your NOA1, or possibly your biometrics receipt, one of which will have a case number you can plug into the online case status site.

The options for just checking case status or creating an account that will keep you informed in more detail can be found here: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp
