I posted this in the other forums but really didnt get the answer I was looking for.

My husband is here on a K3, our I130 has been stuck in name check since 2005. After my husband arrived, we filed for AOS and had our AOS interview in July 2007. We were told since our I130 has not been approved yet, that our AOS couldnt be approved until approval of the I130. Well last week, we finally had our I130 interview and we are still clueless with what will happen next? Will my husband finally get his greencard?

Has anybody been in this situation where there husband came over on a K3 without the approval of an I130? My husband's EAD will be expiring in summer and I do not know if we should wait until we hear something or just go ahead and start the papers to renew his EAD.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I do hope that your husband's AOS is approved soon....

Go ahead and start the EAD renewal process....we waited per atty's advice, didn't file until Sept. 07 had Biometrics in November, and are STILL waiting for the stupid thing ...and as of yet we haven't gotten his GC ....and we had an apporved I-130 ....

thanks, I think we will file next month for renewal of his EAD and for some reason, he will probably get his greencard in the mail shortly after we sent out the renewal form. It wouldn't surprise me a bit, since we are going backward's in this journey.
