Ok so I flew down for the interview.. I am actually resting at the hotel now and then meeting my fiance for lunch...

So we got there.. at 8. around 830 they called her to the window, she gave her medical and then paid the fee. They then returned all 10 lbs of evidence... and we waited for another hour.. then she got called around 945... I went to the window with her.. then the CO Asked me to sit... after 7 mins or so, he called me.. asked me a simple question.. then he said as far as I am concerned everything looks good.. I will approve.. we havent gotten the electronic security clearance yet.. so hopefully we will get it quick and you will have the visa in a week...

until we get the visa in our hands.. we are still skeptical...
the case came to Indian Embassy around the 17th of Jan.. so maybe they didnt have time to get the clearance back... ???

I called VFS today and they confirmed receiving my Passport at VFS, Delhi. I told them not to courier it as I would like to pick it myself. Later during the day I picked it from the VFS office without any problem. My interview was on 20th Feb and I received Passport with Visa today on 22nd Feb).

Note :
1) Confirm status of your passport with VFS customer care (011-42220000) If they have received it they will tell you when can you pick the passport.
2) Passport can be picked between 2-3 pm.
3) Do carry VFS receipt if you are going to pick it personally. VFS receipt of Rs 365/- (Processing Fee).
4) Carry your identity proof also.

My fiance called vfs and they said to call tomorrow at 1230. I called NVC and they said the visa was approved on the 21st and that it should be with the VFS.

I asked them if the security clearance was done, they said" the visa has been put on the passport"....

so hopefully we are all done.
