I have a good news! Finally, i got a interview date!! IM so happy!!
NVC scheduled it for the april 8th , and its in Kiev!
Who have their interview date same day in Kiev- write me!

To find out interview day for immigrant visa u have to call NVC operator!

If you are the single sponsor for both your wife and step child , is it necessary that you send two seperate AOS fee cheques of $70 each. since the AOS if from the same person isn't it enough to send only #70.

Also did you pay separate cheques for both IV bills or did you pay by one single cheque $800($400+$400)

We were approved on 12/13/07 and I sent NVC an email on Valentine's Day asking after 9 weeks why we had not received an interview date.

I got a reply this morning.......We have an interview date scheduled for April 15th 9am Kingston Jamaica.......

You have to send only one fee cheque of 70$ for both- your wife and step child.
My husband sent one cheque for visa fee , 400+400 in one cheque- it worked!

My hus has file I130for me and my child (in my previous marriage ) , i have a court order giving full custody of my child, someone told me that during interview they might ask for a letter from my ex to take her along with me, do you know anything about this?

I had a little different situation, because i dont have a full custody of my child,so i had to get this consent letter from my ex husband. In ur case, since u have full custody i think its will be better to check and call US consulate in India,or write them an email ,if they are quick to respond.
