embassy sent letter for passport submission on 15feb(as operator told me)......but hvnt received yet
when went embassy for issue of duplicate letter....the lady said u hv to wait for a week....if after week u dint get the letter, then they will issue duplicate one........
my problem is that i cant submit my passport without that letter........
now i'll try to get email that letter today .....

do you know what security check they did... the CO told my fiance and me.. everything looks good..we are just waiting for electronic checks to come back and kept her passport..

dont know what they did exactly in security chk.......i hv heard that it took 4-6 weeks for security chk........
but in my case i had interview on 7thfeb.... on 8th feb case sent to washington DC......and embassy called me to give fingerprints on 12th feb....i gave fingerprints on 14th feb.....on 15th feb embassy sent me a letter to submit my passport..

now i cant even imagine what they check in this short time of period.....
seems like GOD is checking our patience

They send mail through Indian post... it takes 7 working days to reach.... Saturday and sundays are holidays. So calculate 7 working days from Feb 15 and you will get the date when you will get letter from them.
