Hello everyone,

My IV bill was generated on the 18th of this month. I'm anticipating receipt of the actual bill sometime next week.

I'm going to my bank tomorrow to buy a cashier's check so that when I do get the bill, all I need to do is go to the post office.

Too bad there's no proven shortcut or I would have done it already.

Anyway, I just wanted to double check with someone here that received the actual bill recently.

It's $400 payable to "The Department of State"

Is this correct? Thank you.

sharif- the only way to know about AOS, I-864 is calling to operators, there's a message on automated system if I-864 got a RFE, but you won't want to hear it

Yes, it is correct. They only accept a money order of a cashier check drawn on a US Bank. Make sure, you write your case number on your money order or cashier check.

I dont know if my AOS fee was processed. The IV bill has nothing to do with the IV bill though.

I'm also anticipating the actual bill because when I called NVC's automated system and it said, "The Immigration Visa Fee Bill letter has been generated..."

Hope that helps
