I recently spoke with someone who had their application transfered from the Texas Service Center to Vermont. Is there any reason behind this? Should I submit my application for AOS to the Texas Service Cneter, just as I normally would?

All marage based AOS get sent to the Chicago Lockbox....

Texas does not process family based immigrations petitions (I-129F and I-130), California and Vermont do.

And if you file I-485, you file it to the national lock box address in Chicago per the directions included with the I-485.

helpsmilie.gif US helpsmilie.gif YOU timeline.gif http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=39085 It looks like you have not receive K-1 visa yet per your time line, what are you filing to USCIS?

Then how come on the USCIS website under Service Centers, it lists me (FL resident) as a user of the Texas Service Center for an I-129F?

Who is right and who is wrong?

LOL USCIS IS ALWAYS RIGHT - you must send certain applications except I-130 to your center such as TSC and then it should have gone to CSC, but since times have changed, it could either be CSC OR VSC.

Good Luck and yes its confusing
