On one hand, I see the point that was being discussed, that some folks come to the United States because their significant other's job pays better currently or whatever, but then leave the country once they retire, but others come wanting the American dream and to flourish here. To me this doesn't really seem like the part of the process that needs looking at, but rather the 4-7 month waiting times for interviews in Montreal and such. Kind of reminds me how there's a war going on in Iraq but we have Senate meetings regarding some pitcher shooting up drugs in his bum haha.
After seeing my wife go through the process to come from Canada to here, then seeing the way the Canadian government has been treating her family's immigration case, it really makes me wonder why the American government can never react to the important things first
