I am confused. On a couple pages of the I-864 I just recieved, it says I need to send only 1 yrs tax return, but in the general instructions, it says 3 yrs. Which should I send?

3 years is the better option to be on the safe side.

just give them 3. Better safe than sorry

Eddie,

For a K3 visa application? I-134 and whatever other financial documentation the consulate in Turkey asks for.

Or is your wife applying for an immigrant visa (or adjustment of status) and you've posted in the wrong forum?

Thata another strange thing. I applied for a K-3 visa, but the papers say CR-1.

go with 3 to be safe good.gif

Eddie,

Actually, from what I can see in your personal information, you (or your spouse) haven't applied for any visa yet - you've only submitted the prerequisite petitions.

Where did that I-864 come from - the consulate in Turkey or the NVC in New Hampshire? It appears to me that you may be beginning the application process for an immigrant visa, not a K3. Has the I-129f petition been approved yet?

After much research, I discovered the paperwork needed to apply for a K-3 visa. I completed everything and submitted it, along with her papers. Our I-130 has been approved, but not the I-129F.
It was recently transfered to the Mo. Service Center.
The I-864 is from the N.H office

Eddie,

You should be getting, or have already received, other correspondance from the NVC in New Hampshire.

Submitting that I-864 to the NVC is part of the immigrant visa application process.
