I have been reading the James Shortcuts for a few days now and still don't quite understand all the fine points. James was very miticulous in setting thigs up and created a great document to follow. My concern is with the "ever changing" status of USCIS and NVC relative to forms, fees, mail-in addresses, and attachments. Do we need to do some research on our part to make sure that the procedures have not changed? The last thing we want to do is send outdated material to the government. Things that need to be investigated are:
1. What are the latest version of forms (DS-3032, I-864, & DS-230)?
2. Have the fees changed since James filed last year?
3. Has the addresses changed to where the forms need to be mailed?
4. The cover sheets for the DS-230 & I-864 still valid?
5. The Release TaxData Form....Is it required?
6. James had attached a AOS FeeBill Form, is it still valid for use?
7. Did I miss any other kinds/type of paperwork?
If anyone has been corresponding with other groups that are 6 to 7 months ahead of us. maybe they can update us with what the government has been actually sending out.
James did a great service for us all. We just need to pick-it-up where he left off.
Anyone willing to help?
