I was recently offered a job in U A E. Is it safe there for Americans? Are the people there friendly to Americans. Thanks john&jean

yep its fairly safe there. and its very beautiful...but its VERY expensive to live there.

It is a very nice place to live and they are very American friendly. Like Jess said, it can be a little expensive.

especially if you live in a bigger city..which would probably be most common taking a job offer.

My coworker is Egyptian and has lived in UAE for an extended amount of time. She tells me that Dubai is one of the most Western & English-friendly and liberal Arab countries. Living in Dubai can be very expensive, as others have said, but you should be able to manage it if your job is there. Good luck.

United Arab Emirates is safe....Lot of westerners live there and work there.
