my now wife, she entered as K1, has received her AP docs and her work permit, however, we are still waiting for her green card.

we have received official notice that her application has been transfered to CSC.

her original K1 visa expired last month and all we have are the letters saying her AOS applicaltion for a green card is at CSC.

will she be able to re enter with her valid AP docs and the letters saying her AOS application is being processed at CSC? even though her original K1 visa says it is expired?

or do we need to schedule a visit at the local office to receive further permission to travel and re enter?

we married and sent in all our paperwork in the first 90 days of her entry.

The K1 Visa is a once only entry visa... so it expired the day she entered the US.... she does not need anything other than her AP docs and a valid passport to renter the USA... she would not have been issued with AP if she had not filed for AOS so you do not need to carry any AOS papers with you... The AP is all you need..

thank you

Read around through otehr threads and people's experiences at the POE though. The post above is absolutely correct, the K1 is irrelevant now and as long as she has her AP and passort should be fine,

Did she apply for the AOS/AP in her married name? If so, don't forget a copy of your marriage certificate if her passport is in her maiden name.

Cheers
