Hello Everyone Thanks for all your prayers, My husband called me at 10:03a.m. central time today, he had his interview but was asked to come back with phone records, the lady that interviewed him wanted to see more phone record's I am trying desparately to get them to him now. He said the interview was not hard, his interview was at 7 a.m. and he did see an interviewer until 3.pm. He was asked to get a new police report because his expired next week so he already got that and now just waiting on the phone record's I used a calling card to call him so I have to go to court to supeona the phone records and then scan them to him... so I'm off to try and get this done by friday. Again thanks for your prayer.... Have a blessed day.
I hope you get this worked out soon.
F.Y.I. - I ran into the same situation with my husband. They would not accept our calling cards. In my effort to get a print out of the calls made on the calling card, the calling card company told me that I they would only do such under a court supeona. Guess what - according to our local judical district the only way that would issue a supeona for the calling cards is if it involved a criminal matter.

I was stuck, so I came up with a Plan B and that was to go to the Magistrates Office and begged them to write a letter (addressing it to the embassy) explaining why I could not get a copy of my calling card records.
This is not to scare you, but to prepare you for a possible road block. If this should happen, take note of what I mentioned above, because you can still get around the matter.
Wish you the best!

plz explain what you mean did you just have calling cards?? to show where u purchased them?? I Have Tmobile and when I dial my calling card it only shows my calling card 800 number does not show his number because it Nigeria.. But i have them all marked.. emails and chat.. Don't they knwo all we can do is use calling cards?? How long does police report last.. My husband got his first of this mont interview is april 9th?? thanks you can send mail to me..
Initially my husband went to his interview with used calling cards, receipts for the calling cards, my Sprint phone records showing when I called the 800 number, and a small amount of emails. With less than two weeks before his interview, I learned that some embassy's do not accept calling cards. At that particular moment I added international long distance to my cell phone, in order that we may have a paper trail if necessary. Well - the afternoon of my husband's interview (similar to your situation) my husband was told to come back with 'sufficient evidence' of an ongoing relationship (they did not accept our calling cards).
Considering that I had once again accumulated many used calling cards since I mailed my husband his original packet, I called the calling card company for copies of my record. They explained that they would only provide records if it is court ordered. However, (at least where I live) a supeona can only be issued for records of a calling card if it involves a criminal matter. So that is why I had a Magistrate to write a letter, addressed to the embassy, explaining the matter.
In addition, I had Sprint to expedite a copy of my phone calls from the previous two weeks (cost of $75) so that I would not have to wait until the end of the current billing cycle.
When does your husband go back for his follow up interview? The reason I ask is because immediately you can sign up at www.pingo.com, and they will provide you with an immediate log of your calls. Therefore, when your husband returns to the embassy you can email a copy of the call log from Pingo, and he can submit that as well.
Finally, my husband had two Western Union receipts from me (again trying to come up with sufficient evidence of an on-going relationship). NOTE: I am not encouraging you to send him money. At the time I was in desperate need of creating a paper trail asap. To my knowledge, having the Western Union receipts did not amount to anything when he returned. But for me, my mindset was better safe than sorry.
I agree - 'don't they know we use calling cards?'.

However, the explanation my husband received was 'calling cards do not prove who the calls were made to, or who they were received from.'
I don't know the answer to your question regarding the police report. It's been a while, and my husband is in class tonight.
Hope this helps.
